Yael, who is an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael completed her studies at NIDA. Yael despite her young age, has been given the chance to study with the most famous storytellers in Australia. Yael enjoys a rich career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the play was an enormous successful. Yael created The Cannery with her co-founders. The Cannery supports innovative ideas in writing and also creative projects in its Bushwick studio.
